I also had very much difficulties trying to find a vampire (I didn't know anything about a witch). Anyways what I did was hang around the town during the night and such. Once I found a vampire I would be very nice to it and eventually fall in love with them. Then I would ask the vampire to move into my house. Hey there. I have a condition called PANDAS. Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Strep. What happened was: I got a case of strep that nobody noticed and the antibodies went crazy and attacked my brain, giving me tics AND OCD. I'm on mess to treat the strep that should keep the tics away. The OCD is worse now, but o can live with it. I'm 14 :)

Right, so I've met this guy about a month ago, he's great, really nice. He opened up to me about a disorder he has, a tics disorder. Hes on meds for this and i dont mind that because i never noticed until he told me. He says he has meltdowns where everything annoys him and he lashes out at everyone he cares about. He has done this to me 3 times now, and although i know he doesnt mean it, i'm still really hurt and upset. And he expects me to forget about it and move on but i cant. I told him that i think he should wait until he's completely better on these new meds before we meet again because these meltdowns are getting more frequent. I wanna be there for him but its so hard to be when you're told to **** off forever! What should i do?

So that would make me an agnostic aleprechaunist or in the case of gods agnostic atheist in I can't prove these things don't exist as they are unfalsifiable claims at present. I was in a 4 yr very stressful relationship where my heart was broken when my now ex boyfriend cheated on me and lied to me. We've been broken up 1 month now and I am starting to feel better. Not quite there yet, i'm still healing! Anyway around the time we broke up I met a new guy. We're just friends at the moment, we went on a few dates and I've had a lot of fun with him, he gets my mind off of everything and has made me smile again. I've only known him a month and he has just told me he loves me and has since the first time he met me. This has really upset me, I feel like I shouldn't be but I am! We're not together or anything as we agreed that there'd be no strings attached, meet who we want etc - it was just fun! But the thing is I dont love him at all. I really like him, but no where near love. Showering at Boy Scount Camp Questions?

I am going to boy scout camp in 2 weeks. The camp we are going to has a weird shower area. There is four sides and shower heads on half the walls. There is about a foot on the bottom where you can look outside. Can I shower nude? The showers are communial. I want to keep by public area clean and free of tics. In the hope of combatting narcolepsy, I have been on low-dose Adderall for about three weeks. It has not helped with the narcolepsy, so I won't miss it, if I have to stop it. In the meantime, I have started to develop tics: blinking my eyes (hard), every few seconds and jerking my neck. Not appealing (I'm an adult female) and somewhat painful. I can only imagine that this is from the Adderall, because I have never had tics, before. The only thing that gives me any doubt is that I've been on the med for close to a month, but the tics just started a few days ago. I have not been able to get in touch with my neurologist, so I would appreciate your input. So...does anyone out there know of an association (for an adult non-ADHD patient) between Adderall and tics - especially when the tics didn't start at the onset of taking the med? If so, have the tics disappeared (I hope!), when the Adderall was discontinued and how long did that take? Thank you.

hello, I've had OCD for as long as i can remember, and I've also had various tics at least since I was about 13/14. I'm 25 now. I've never had these tics looked at before, I can supress the most obvious ones for most of the day so that makes them easier to hide and I guess they are too embaressing to mention to people. In public, I tend to fidget all the time, and I am constantly picking at my lips, shaking my legs, clenching my butt muscles, crunching my toes, and tapping things with my fingers and occasionally jerking or shaking my head, none of which i have much control of and none of which i feel are related to OCD. When I get away from people, I let the other ones out, which some are doing strange movements with my tongue, or clicking my jaw, or making strange noises. these ones are more intense and are worse when my OCD is stressing me out, and tend to get in the way of my compulsions and i have to try to stop them in order to finish whatever compulsion im trying to finish. Anyway as I said I've never had these tics looked at so I'm just wondering what it is?

My budgies always put their weight on one foot. Its normal for me. I think the best thing to do is to observe if he ever puts that other leg down. Let him get used to your other birds and then let him join them in the cage. (usually when I get a new bird I let him in the cage right away. I have a room upstairs with two cages with its doors always open. We let them fly around freely and can see them from downstairs. They are comfortable with windows and don't fly into them. But don't take any chances! I also think you should put flyers around your neighborhood If you think it may belong to somebody because an owner with a lost budgie may be very worried! Good Luck!

A neighbour called me as she thought she had found my missing cat, it wasn't my cat but I took her home to feed and look after as she was in a bad way. She is skin and bone and her long fur is all matted and stuck together. she has quite a bit of hair loss, and some sores on her exposed skin. I tweezered a copule of tics out of her skin also. I know she has fleas and I know I'm going to have to blitz the outhouse when shes sorted, hence why im not bringing her in house. Tips on how to swallow a pill?

I am terrified of swallowing pills, and every time I have tried, the pill starts to dissolve (after me gagging) and i have to run to the sink to spit it out. So, I always beg my mom to get the liquid stuff or chewables, but yesterday the doctor put me on an antibiotic and my mom brought the pills home today. I mean, I have Tourette's, and I don't have to do many vocal tics. But what do Christians think about people that HAVE to yell obscenities in public? I think I might have OCD?

I don't want to sound like a hypochondriac, but I thought I might have OCD for a long time now, I'm currently 18, and I have a lot of the symptoms of body tics, (my parents took me to the doctor when i was younger for my tics, and they they mostly occurr when i get really stressed or anxious) compulsive rituals i do to satisfy myself, putting things in certian orders, paranoia about sitting on certian things or touching certian things because they make me uncomfortable, invasive mental thoughts, hoarding of objects because i feel Im going to need them at some point, mild paranoia (feeling of being watched), constant and excessive checking of things like water faucets, forms, writing, as if i dont know whether to trust what my eyes are telling me or something, its hard to explain. But anyway, i am going to talk with a doctor, i just wanted some input from people who might have had this disorder. The big question i had was, I dont do these things all the time. Like it seems to turn on and off with different things. For example i dont put everything in order all the time (my room is a mess) but when i feel the need to put something in order its like i have to do, i just have to, or I don't check the stove constantly because i dont feel i have to, just the one faucet closest to me. So do OCD people carry through with each symptom so it effects everything around them, or might they just do it with certian things at certian times?

Do you find it ironic that anti-cannabis people fail to spell simple words, or are just too lazy?

If you notice, a lot of the anti marijuana-ists call us stoners lazy, while they are too lazy to type two extra letters to form the word "you"? Also a bunch of them fail to use proper grammar and spell words correctly along with the fact that most of what they are saying is bs government propaganda..and by the way, I'm not talking about tiny tiny mistakes that ONLY a grammar nerd would notice.

Annoying cough, no idea what caused it, could it be from anxiety?

The past few days Ive had a cough. At first I thought it was allergies, then I thought it was a cold, then I had an earache and thought it was from my ear. Well the allergie thing has gone away, and cough drops don't help it. Then I realized, could my cough be a tic? Last week I was mocking someone who coughed alot, since then I have been. Its a short, dry, cough. Could this be a tick of my anxiety?

End of life and relationship issues: man wants to be buried next to his father rather than his wife?

Middle aged couple married over 25 years, with mostly grown children. Relationship has lasted in spite of difficulties throughout. Man's father passed away recently (within the past three years). Issues remain between him and surviving (dysfunctional) family in the locale where pops is buried. He wants to be buried next to pops because of his extreme attachment to his memory, a sense of devotion, and 'respect'. Wife does not want to be buried there. She has extreme dislike of mum-in-law (whom she describes as controlling and narcissistic), has unpleasant memories of family situations and visits over the passing years, and does not want to be buried with a family in a city that she does not feel close to. Her own family lives elsewhere. Husband says 'it's my choice' where he wants to be buried and would basically choose getting buried next to pops over his wife. Wife had been of the opinion that if two people spend their lives together they should be buried together. Points out that deceased family members in her (and his) family were buried as husband and wife, unless they died single or as a young child. He is not of a culture that has or uses family crypts. Wife remembers her late dad-in-law fondly but is put off by husband's attitude. She has come to feel that the man she married after all these years in a way never severed the umbilical cord from parents whom she believes withheld affection from him (by blatant favoritism of younger sibling) and is or was forever trying to earn parents' love and respect. She told him that he seems to care more about a deceased person than the living people (his own family in his life. He responded by saying it's because he is closer to death than being alive. He is depressed and has some health issues and obviously is still grieving over loss of his pops but wife thinks this attitude is not healthy. Is she right or is she being selfish?

Why cant i get it together mentally?

Ive always been a multi-tasker. I run a lot at work (everyone depends on me), I have 3 adults and 3 kids in my house for 9 months now and Im the only one with a job so i pay all the bills and at times lend them money for little things. I just am relied on by a lot of people and I had to stop talking to my family cuz they are too critical of me.Well I decided to try to reilieve some of my stress this last week by smoking some crank my roomate got. It was ok...but I knew crack was better so I got some of that and smoked that too. Well I didn't sleep for 3 days nor did I eat much and I started having mucle spasms and facial tics. Now Its 5 days later and I feel shaky and even tho I slept 10 hours I can't get motivated to do anything all of a sudden. Im shaking and tired and my work is piling up. My days are usually just me being really paranoid. Maybe about once a week a have a day where I'm just sad and don't want to get up or watch tv and have no appetite at all. And usually I have one day where I'm really mad and all I want to do is sleep. Even when I think I feel fine my friends usually tell me I seem like I'm sad. I'm overly sensitive, but if I read a story about Columbine or a wounded dog I will hardly feel sad, but I cried at the episode of Family Guy where Brian talks about killing himself. I'm about to cry just writing about it. It's like I have a "trigger-word" for crying. I'm usually only happy around my friends, but it's genuine happiness. They're the ones I feel the most paranoid about, though. The slightest things they do make me really cynical. I get so anxious from the paranoia that it feels like I'm shaking but it's just on the inside. Sometimes I just start crying because my mind's set on default that if I don't have anything to think about I think about myself. I just feel like a failure and the only reason I'm only still here is because I have people that care about me and need me, and I feel so ungrateful that it hardly helps at all. When I feel sad I don't even want to talk to anyone. When I was younger I didn't have some cliche "huge scarring of my life". The only think that could even hardly be classified as that is when I was younger I only had one friend but then my parents divorced and I didn't live by her anymore(I still lived in the same school district, though), and then I starting getting on the internet a lot. My parents got back together a few times after that. I now live in a blended family, and they're tolerable but sometimes they push me to my boiling point. I still talk to my dad, he lives with his girlfriend and her kids. They're all tolerable most of the time. I'll be honest, I'm only fourteen, but I've been suicidal since I was 9 or 10. I attempted once when I was 10, but it was really pathetic and I've never told my mom. Sometimes I just get so mad I wanna tell her and make her feel guilty but I know I'll regret it. I don't self-harm, I've only cut once with a box cutter when I was 10. It was on my arm my mom never seen it because I had long sleeves and jackets. It was like a tic-tac-toe board but I only have one scar from it. My mom found a paper once when I was 9 and it was ways I could kill myself. I was just angry I was just taking out frustration but it eventually became a joke. I vividly remember putting down "cut off my arm" on it. I think my mom's suppressed that memory, though. She's never brought it up since. My parents divorced when I was 7, but it was probably for the best and I'm really not bitter about it. Right now I'm in one on one of my sad days but it started happy, then paranoid, then angry, then I was alright, now I'm just sad. I truly think my life isn't that bad, but I just can't be happy. Sorry it's so long..is there something wrong with me?

Scared to go camping?

Camping is not a big deal, in fact I'm sure you'll love it! Unless your parents are camping in the middle of no where, you usually camp in a gathering. So there would be at least 20-50 other tents there if not more. Not only that, it will be 4th of July so everyone will be camping. The sound of fireworks, if there are any, will also scare off the animals. Roasting marshmallows is extremely easy...and tasty ;) I believe it is rare to get ticks because I live in California and I always am in the forest. No big problem really. If you are really that scared, wearing a hat is the way to go. You shouldn't have much of a problem with the blood, and putting it in a ziploc baggy is a very smart thing to do if you are paranoid. And for starting a forest fire, they usually have designated areas for campfires. If you don't, then clearing the bush and putting stones around the fire is a great way to go. And if you can, make sure to have water handy...just in case. Camping is very fun and you rarely have any problems. You can rest assured that you will be safe. :)

Firstly, it isn't because it is an hispanic neighborhoods. It happens mostly in the inner city where there is less surveillance, many suburban kids generally go the inner city to tag walls and trains as well as others and they can also be found wherever their is high gang activity. Tagging is not a "race", "ethnicity", "poor", or "minority" thing, it's an artistic counter and sub culture. It is art, whether or not you like it and many do draw in sketch pads, but sometimes, the destruction of public property specifically with a specific drawing communicates the social and/or political message the artist is trying to get across. Sometimes, it's the only way to get people's attention, especially if you are from a group or culture or opinion that is often overlooked and/or not taken seriously.

I have a neck tic where I have to move my neck from side to side, back and forth nonstop all day just like "cracking my neck" im getting pretty tired of it. Just hoping one day itll go away. Hypothyroidism... Am I crazy? Or convince the doctor?!?

My hypothyroidism was very tricky. I even had a test come back normal even though my levels were crazy. I'd say either find a new doctor (because yours doesn't seem very good) or contact and endocrinologist. I was convinced I had hypothyroidism even though people didn't believe me! So after you find a decent doctor you'll probably be wondering about medication. I have to take one pill a day and have regular blood tests to check my levels. Its really not as difficult to treat as it is to diagnose! Until then just take things one step at a time :)

What helps children who have bad anxiety problems?

I'm trying to find any type of activity or ways to help my son cope with anxiety. He is going to see a specialist soon but I can't stand the fact that they may put him on medication. He is already taking multiple medications for his asthma and allergies. Also, we did go through trying concerta/ritalin for his ADD and that caused him to have TICS which luckily went away a week after taking him off those drugs. Because of this, now I have to worry about giving him other medications that will bring out his TICS. Singulair is one of them which the doctors found odd. They put him back on Singulair for one week last year when his asthma got bad and sure enough, the TICS came back. I stopped giving it to him 2 days later and it went away again. I was told by a specialist that he won't get full blown Touretts when he gets older which I'm grateful for. If any doctor says that Ritalin and those types of medications don't cause TICS, don't believe them. My son never had any issues with this until he started taking that family of drugs. Anyway, back to the subject....does anyone have any anxiety release ideals that perhaps they or you use to relieve their or your anxiety. It is now effecting his school work which is causing me concern. Thank you.

I was in a 4 yr very stressful relationship where my heart was broken when my now ex boyfriend cheated on me and lied to me. We've been broken up 1 month now and I am starting to feel better. Is this plot idea for a vampire story any good at all?

I actually kind of liked it. Vampires portrayed in a darker light, like they were meant to be. Very refreshing. I used to watch all those scary kid shows like, Are You Afraid of the Dark and Tales From The Crypt and such when I was a kid, but there was one that I can't remember the name of. Do you think anxiety/panic attacks can be cured?

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Obviously anxiety cannot be completely cured, everyone has some level of anxiety, it's part of us. It's the extreme anxiety and panic attacks that are not nice at all. I believe panic attacks can be 'cured', although anyone one at any time can have one, so it's a bit of a weird term. I deeply sympathise with the benzodiazepine situation. I'm still going through withdrawal after 6 months of stopping them and it's been pure hell and torment. I have wished I was dead many times and had given up hope. It will just take time, I know it's not great to hear that but it's the only thing there is. But yes I have known people who have had panic disorder to the max and now haven't had a panic attack for years. You're in my thoughts and prayers, I hope you find something within you that will pull through this nightmare :)

I always acted strangely and had different interests to other people. I was suffering from mental illnesses (Still am!) and that pushed people away. You need to find someone you connect with. Try joining a sports team or a club of some sort. Easier said than done, I know. But it's easier to make friends with people who share the same interests as you do. Stray dog what can i do?

I am feeding a stray dog ( a podenco) she has just had pups in the wild and i have removed them from her and we plan to re home them.The mother is not in a good state but we can not get close to her to catch her she allways keeps a distance so all i can do is feed and water her but she is constantly scratching and losing weight ,i think she is probably infested with tics and fleas and possibly has or will get leishmania,does anyone know if you can get medication that can be added to food that i could give her to relieve her suffering.we live in a rural area of Spain so there is no RSPCA or similar and not a lot of local sympathy so any ideas.

I think he is great, he's a man of true character, funny, smart, very much a gentleman. I just don't know how to be accepting of his turrets, he has a very mild form and typically hides it pretty well but occasionally has shoulder shrugs or other weird body movements and he doesn't cuss or anything, he just makes like clicks with his tongue sometimes. I have never been to Kings Dominion but , at Kings Island they have white water canyon , drop tower , and backlit stunt coaster. I have a few stallion questions?

I have a 2 year old stud, coming 3 in march. He is fantastic, I would like to breed him in the future, but do not wish to keep a stallion. I believe it is unfair to him to be locked up all the time and would like to geld him soon before his baby attitude leaves him. I want him to continue to be my friend first and a horse second. not a stallion first and my friend second. He has no studly desires, he beds next to mares and does not tear up fences or such YET . What are my options for collecting semen and storing it? I know i could find a dummy mount to use, but I hear it takes training and quite a stud attitude, which I do not want him to get. is there other options? How long can you store semen and where? Must semen be kept frozen in a bank somewhere or will at home freezing sufice? I don't know much about collecting them. My family has always done live breeding. But if he does not meet his potential I expect I don't want to be left with a stud-gelding when he is older, but if he does I would lose the chance of a very nice stallion. (and i refuse to breed him now giving him an attitude and adding to the unwanted horse population) Plus I will be traveling and finding places that will board stallions temp or long term is difficult. A few days ago my friend and I were out hiking in the woods. When we came back to the house I found that I had a bite on my arm. I think that one of your fans is likely dead. When a fan dies it either just stops, or it goes for a second quickly, then abruptly stops.
