Is it true to conclude? that those who lead "you" and cause you to err, actually follow satan!?

there are a couple of verses in the bible that makes this quote and also concludes that people do follow satan. and that satan does exist. despite what the nay sayers say! so is it true even in some cases that religion"ists" do follow satan?
