I need advice on switching fishtanks?

I need to take my 30g tropical fish tank and my 10g coldwater tank and switch them (obvious reasoning). I am sort of neglecting my 30g. Im kinda using it for growing my plants and fish, not to appeal to me. I'm taking my plants and fish and putting em in my 10 g and the coldwater vice versa. Any tips? Thank you. Also, is an umbrella plant a crypt or anibus?
