Can you please give me some information about Adderall and tics?

In the hope of combatting narcolepsy, I have been on low-dose Adderall for about three weeks. It has not helped with the narcolepsy, so I won't miss it, if I have to stop it. In the meantime, I have started to develop tics: blinking my eyes (hard), every few seconds and jerking my neck. Not appealing (I'm an adult female) and somewhat painful. I can only imagine that this is from the Adderall, because I have never had tics, before. The only thing that gives me any doubt is that I've been on the med for close to a month, but the tics just started a few days ago. I have not been able to get in touch with my neurologist, so I would appreciate your input. So...does anyone out there know of an association (for an adult non-ADHD patient) between Adderall and tics - especially when the tics didn't start at the onset of taking the med? If so, have the tics disappeared (I hope!), when the Adderall was discontinued and how long did that take? Thank you.
