Im engaged, been with him for 4years, he's violent and he's taking over my life...what do i do?

Hon, I have been in an abusive marriage and just recently left. You can't imagine the feelings of low self-worth that this person inflicted on me and I still feel today. You are accepting his behavior so he will continue on being abusive to you and it will get worse. I wish I had listened to my gut instincts that told me not to marry this man but once entangled in the relationship I became the weaker person and he the stronger. You have all the signs telling you to leave him--DO IT.
