I have an HTC Inspire through AT&T, and I am having trouble using the Internet browser?

I do no think it has anything to do with my connection to the internet because my apps like Facebook and Tic Tac Toe live work just fine. It isn't that I have poor signal, either, because I'm connected through my WiFi with "excellent" signal and usually have instant results. I try to go to various web pages through both my browser and google, but it doesn't even load or attempt to. Any suggestions?
