Lookin for the name of an old scifi show?

There used to be this show on scifi (syfy now) and it was sort of similar to tales from the crypt. It was space themed and it always had this one guy and these two little creatures that were like puppets or something and every episode they would go into a theater on their spaceship and watch a short film and you could always hear them making satirical comments in the background while the short film was playing. I can't remember the name of it.... HELP!
